Where do our dogs come from?
Where do our dogs come from?
SVPP primarily rescues animals from the San Jose Animal Care Center (SJACs) which is the largest animal shelter in Santa Clara County. We also may pull animals from other shelter partners such as Tricity Animal Shelter in Fremont and County of Santa Clara Animal Services in San Martin.

Below are links to dogs in need at San Jose Animal Care Center, County of Santa Clara Animal Shelter and Tricity Animal Shelter. Due to the over population of dogs at these shelters, we can select any dog in need!
If you are interested in fostering any of these dogs, please email dogfoster@svpetproject.org and provide the link and A# to the dogs you are interested in fostering.
Please note this list changes hourly and there is no guarantee we will be able to rescue specific pets. Thank you for your compassion and support!
